Nissan Altima – Brake Job Part 1

Would the rear brakes of an altima come off the same way as the front. Do you have park brake cables to worry about.

Thanks this was very helpful for changing out the front brakes on my 2002 Altima. I understand the rear brakes are somewhat more involved since the emergency brake mechanism needs to be removed.

I believe they do come off the same as the front. I remember filming a Nissan Altima brake job on a 2002 model and I don’t remember a brake cable problem. I hope that helps.
